KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Contribute to the development of a Road Asset Management System in Tajikistan and the associated technologies
  • Help the Ministry of Transport (MoT) survey the condition of the entire road network to support the preparation of maintenance plans and budgets
  • Establish improved methodologies for the collection of data, through the use of advanced testing vehicles
  • Create a digital inventory of the road network, including asset and condition data, as well as road maintenance expenditures and traffic data
  • Prepare budget estimates and optimization procedure, using HDM-4 analysis, and undertake iterative budget and scenario analysis
