KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Assist the Ministry of Economy Development (MED) with administering and implementing all Sector Policy Support Programmes (SPSP)
  • Conduct annual reviews of the achievements of the Public Financial Management (PFM) against the agreed indicators and conditions
  • Design and implement a performance evaluation and monitoring system to help the MED compile regular reports on the achievements of all SPSPs
  • Support the Ministries of Justice and Agriculture in coordinating, managing and performance monitoring of the EU-funded JRSP and ARSP
  • Support the MED with the preparation and submission of disbursement requests and associated documents and requests for EU payments
  • Provide training and capacity development to the MED and other ministries in EU budget support and other instruments in Azerbaijan and organise study tours
