KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Provide support for policy and regulatory reforms and campaign for state support for improved sector performance and financing
  • Define and implement actions to promote free movement of people and goods, and reduce check points along the interstate roads
  • Improve road safety data collection processes and organise workshops to tackle road safety
  • Help prepare, implement, and monitor annual work plans and budgets in close cooperation with the Directorate for Infrastructure
  • Assist in reviewing institutional and technical capacity and prepare a capacity development plan
  • Design a Monitoring and Evaluation framework, based on Key Performance Indicators, and prepare baseline performance data
