Technical Assistance Project for the Implementation of the Pilot Regional Development Programme (PRDP) in the Republic of Azerbaijan

q Develop the capacity of the Ministry of Economy and Industry (MEI) in regional development planning and implementation
q Prepare a Pilot Regional Development Plan and undertake market analysis to identify specific business opportunities in the pilot region
q Undertake feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for investing in support infrastructure
q Prepare tailored specific promotion material and actions targeted to producers, cooperatives, associations, and other regional entities
q Build the capacity of the MEI in coordinating and monitoring projects funded by institutional banks and other international donors
q Organise a study visit to a European Union Member State for a delegation of senior staff from the MEI
